This year’s Winter Wishes will support Lurie Children’s Heart Center and their aim to reduce barriers to specialty health care access. With your support, we can provide cardiology services in the highest risk communities, ensure the proper training and lifesaving devices are available to every community after sudden cardiac arrest, and advocate for the most vulnerable populations to have better heart health through preventative cardiology. The Founders’ Board of Lurie Children’s has made a generous two-year $4 million commitment to support Lurie Children’s Heart Center. While there have been significant advancements made to help children survive heart disease, Lurie Children’s remains vigilant in ensuring kids not only survive but thrive to lead healthy, productive lives. With your support, the Founders’ Board’s commitment will change the future for children with heart disease, from groundbreaking interventions before birth to exceptional outcomes through our top-ranked heart transplant program and vital follow-up services to support the whole child and family.
